
Health Pro is a personal training
facility just open in Linford Wood. If you’ve been visiting the
gym but have not got to where you want to be fitness wise, then
this is the place for you. Health Pro can give guidance to
anyone regardless of their level of fitness and their personal
goals. I had just finished my gym membership and needed a real
push to train through the winter months. The gym had been great
for a month or two until I got bored with my visits. Not only
did I want to take my fitness to another level, I wanted
professional guidance on exactly how I could do just that.

As soon as I walked through the
doors of this new, purpose built unit, Kieron assessed my posture
giving an early indication on what underlying issues I may have
needed to cover before my training could begin. We discussed my
goals to see what I’d like to achieve and talked about my past
exercise history, covering any previous injuries. We discussed
my goals and what I wanted to get out of the session, which was
to simply trim and tone.
We
started exercising with a warm up on the treadmill, a light walk
to mobilise my joints and then Kriss put me though some
exercises, which to me, were exercises to see how my body
functioned. Squats and sit-ups - it sounded easy enough on paper
but I soon had sweat dripping from my forehead. “One more!”
Kieron would yell! Just what I needed.
Based on that, I was able to
free up tight muscles and iron out muscular imbalances that
would have caused injury or potential joint problems long term.
This also made the movements and exercises a lot easier for me
to perform.
This was a serious work out but
it was kept reasonably light hearted because it was my first
time here and I felt relaxed and extremely comfortable in this
new environment. Overall, I gained what I asked for and more. I
was assessed constantly throughout the session and was able to
pick up some useful information about myself and exercising
properly for the future. Whatever your level of fitness – I
