Do
you feel like chicken tonight? Nando’s is the home of legendary
Portuguese, flame grilled Peri perri chicken.
Nando’s offers a menu of chicken dishes which vary from whole
chicken platters to chicken pittas and burgers. All chicken is
marinated for 24 hours in Nando’s Peri Peri sauce and grilled to
order. Choose from the following Nando’s flavours: Lemon & Herb
or Mango & Lime (less spicy), medium (the heat goes up), hot
(treat with caution and respect) and extra hot (beware!
Pyromaniacs only).
Décor
Nando’s is a spacious venue with a selection of high and low
tables to sit at. Huge glass windows and high ceilings with low
hanging lamp shades are the result of the newly built restaurant
at the hub.
Service
Once you have selected your combination of chicken and sides you
need to order your food at the till point. This cuts the amount
of staff that restaurant require therefore keeping the price of
the food low. You will be provided with a chicken shaped table
number and your chosen drinks at this time. Soft drinks are
unlimited refills which are self service. Any other drinks and
desserts can be ordered from your table.
Food
My
guest selected a medium spiced half chicken with sides of
coleslaw and sweet mashed potato.
We
have both eaten at Nando’s many times before and the chicken is
always grilled to perfection. Tender, full of flavour with
crispy skin. The sweet mash was a nice alternative to the
classic chips or rice and was served piping hot. The creamy,
crunchy coleslaw cools your mouth.
I
decided to have a lemon and herb chicken pitta (with cheese)
served with chips and corn on the cob.
The lemon and herb sauce still has a little spicy kick. My guest
loves the chips at Nando’s and started his meal by pinching
chips from my plate instead of concentrating on his own
selection of food. Corn on the cob is served with butter and was
delicious and crunchy.
Don’t forget to grab some Nando’s table sauces!!!
Atmosphere
Nando’s is a very relaxed restaurant which is always buzzing and
full of customers. it’s a great place to grab a bite to eat
after work or before heading off to the cinema.
The menu also has a choice of steak, vegetarian burgers with a
tasty dessert menu if you still have room for a sweet. You can
also order a takeaway for collection. |
