If you are looking for a comfy place to unwind in the heart of centre:mk, a nice cup of tea or coffee should do the trick at Rendezvous in the Ski Dome.

The manager Vijay is friendly, helpful and his cafe offers a huge variety of delicious ice creams from exotic chocolates to tropical fruits and good tea and coffees.

On this particular occasion it was a warm day and I was looking for a nice treat, a flavoursome ice cream with a nice cappuccino. I selected Greek Yoghurt and Honey flavoured ice cream (£1.70) with a chocolate-coated cone topped with Caramelised Hazel Nuts. It was yummy and went well with my fluffy Illy prepared cappuccino (£1.95), at just the right temperature. (Illy is an Italian Coffee brand).

My friend had a piece of carrot cake (£1.50) and a large cup of Tea (£1.95). The cake was freshly made and Moorish.

The café is a nice spot away from the hustle and bustle of the main shopping centre and is a great location for ‘people watching’ as it’s next to the ski, gym and boarding shop entrances.

Rendezvous have a selection of sandwiches, cold drinks, chocolate bars and crisps available at the café too and for those with a sweet tooth, Flapjacks, Muffins, Waffles and Brownies.

The sandwiches are not the greatest in terms of choice but are set at a reasonable price.
